Anita Perry – 2012

By early 2012, after 5 or 6 years of deteriorating health, I was suffering violent bouts of sickness and
diarrhoea almost every week, bleeding inside both eyes, heart palpitations, aching limbs and lower
back, swollen joints, short periods of uncontrolled trembling, headaches, pounding noise in my ears,
dizziness, loss of co-ordination and almost permanent fatigue. I had also lost much of my hair, had
no appetite and could not sleep. In November 2011 I had suffered a mini-stroke and spent 24 very
frightening hours in a stroke ward. Most of these problems had been growing over 5 or more years
and by the end of March 2012 I was only leaving the house to attend medical appointments. Any
form of normal life was impossible as I had effectively become an invalid and felt that I was dying.
For over 12 years I had been taking a variety of prescription tablets for high blood pressure and type
2 diabetes, although these failed to control either my blood glucose or blood pressure effectively,
and it had become impossible to distinguish between genuine original illness and the harmful side
effects of the prescription drugs. This was underlined when I persuaded my doctor to change 2 of
my diabetes drugs for an older alternative and lost the 3 stone in weight that I had gained while on
them. This change also brought my blood sugar under control at last. Some 20 laser treatments for
bleeding in my eyes may have slowed the bleeding, but it had also left me with kaleidoscopic effects
in both eyes.
By early 2012 my doctor had referred me to 4 different gastroenterology consultants – 2 privately.
Unfortunately, as far as the medical profession was concerned my many years of poorly controlled
diabetes had become the default cause of all my ailments and the first 3 consultants diagnosed
diabetic bowel neuropathy without carrying out any tests. They had no advice on how to treat or live
with this chronic condition other than the daily use of strong laxatives that even the manufactures
warned were for short term use only. The last consultant did conduct a barium meal test that
indicated bowel neuropathy was unlikely, but he could not identify the cause of the regular vomiting
and diarrhoea attacks or offer further advice on controlling them.
A further private consultation to test whether adrenal insufficiency was the cause of my almost
permanent exhaustion was negative, but the consultant suggested that I should start insulin, even
though my blood glucose was now under control, because “they sometimes found it helped”.
With nowhere else to go I consulted a local spiritual healer after which I had the first good night’s
sleep for many months. He recommended Ray Brown and I had my first consultation with Spirit
Paul through him in Bury St Edmunds on 10 May 2012, when Paul diagnosed and started to treat
colon cramps. From this first visit the permanent fatigue lifted and my vomiting and diarrhoea
became almost non-existent, although I must still be careful not to push myself too much. In the
subsequent monthly consultations Paul/Ray has continued to work on my stomach cramps and has
been working his way through my other symptoms, including my damaged eyes and my hair loss, all
of which have improved.
Now I am feeling much better physically and am more “comfortable” in myself, with an inner calm
and no longer full of fear, anxiety and despair. I remain a “work in progress”, but going in the right
direction. Paul – through Ray – and his supporting team of group healers have literally given me my life back, not only healing my body, but healing my soul as well.  Truly miraculous.   December 13/2012
