PAUL SAVED MY ARM TESTIMONIAL    In September 2009 I experienced significant neck pain and had two sessions of heat treatment and vigorous massage with my local physiotherapist.  Unfortunately this treatment just made my neck more painful so a week later, on recommendation, I flew to Jersey to see a highly skilled physiotherapist and acupuncturist.  She said my neck was much too inflamed for massage, so she used acupuncture which did relieve some of the pain.  In her opinion, which proved to be correct, the pain was caused by a trapped nerve due to movement of a disc or due to wear and tear.  She gave me three more sessions and expressed her concern at the increasing lack of movement in my left arm.  She therefore referred me to a GP who arranged an immediate MRI scan on my cervical spin on the 13 October.  Two days later the same GP, reviewing the MRI scan interpreted it (correctly) as showing that C5 disc was compressing the motor nerve of the left arm.  He said that if this was indeed the cause of the problem urgent action would be needed to avoid permanent loss of the use of my arm.    I was then referred to two eminent spinal surgeons in the UK, both of whom examined the MRI scan and said that the lack of movement of my arm was caused by a tear in the shoulder cuff.  I wanted to believe this interpretation, since I understood that spinal surgery involved the risk of paralysis, but I was convinced that the problem emanated from my neck, since, as I had explained to both spinal surgeons, I had had significant neck pain for many years, which I had always tried to ignore.  I had a sense of mounting desperation, terrified that I was going to lose the use of my arm, when out of the blue I remembered a friend of mine mentioning Ray Brown a spiritual neurosurgeon had cured her back pain from which she had suffered for years and which had not been relieved by any number of conventional treatments.  Suddenly I felt there was hope.  I walked into the Bury St Edmunds clinic on a date I shall never forget, 5 November 2009.  As I gave my name to Gillian Brown, I pointed to my arm, hanging limp at my side and asked Gillian if she thought Ray  could help me.  “Don’t worry”, she replied with a confident smile.  “Paul will cure you”.   I had brought the MRI scans with me, but Paul did not need to look at them: he knew immediately what the problem was and put his thumb into the right side of my neck and then under my left armpit.  A miracle happened:  I was able to raise my arm a little.  No anaesthetic.  No scalpel.  No going into an operating theatre worrying about the risk of paralysis.  The whole procedure took less than ten minutes!   Paul then explained to me that he would be able to restore the full movement of my arm over a few more sessions.  I saw Paul again on the 14 and 24 November and on 10 December.  Each time I experienced more and more movement, so that by January 2010 I had regained the full use of my arm.  I have thanked the Lord ever since for giving us his servant Paul.   Charles Fletcher-Cooke MA FCA  Isle of Man
